V-POWER EQUIPMENT is hiring for a Full-time Pump Mechanic

HOURLY RATE $29.30 DOE

About the Company:

V-Power Equipment, Inc. is a wholesale distributor and manufacturing company of wastewater and construction dewatering pumps and related equipment. We also design and fabricate custom booster pump stations. We offer a full range of products, services, and equipment.

Position Summary

The Pump Mechanic is responsible for the assembly, preparation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial pumps, piping systems, fittings, and related equipment. This position supports manufacturing and operational activities while ensuring quality standards, workplace safety, and efficient workflow coordination.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble, prepare, repair, and troubleshoot pumps and related equipment.
  • Prep, paint, and prepare piping and fittings prior to assembly.
  • Inspect equipment and identify operational or maintenance concerns.
  • Perform quality checks on completed work and components.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and Cal/OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Support production timelines and operational priorities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous pump, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely use tools and equipment associated with the position.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions
