Fueling Success in this Role:

VP Racing is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Pump Slab Worker to join our operations team at our Elmendorf, Texas plant. This role plays a critical part in our fuel production process by supporting blending operations, managing product movement, and coordinating closely with plant leadership to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe production flow.

Essential Functions:

  • Performing fuel blending operations in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
  • Coordinating production schedules and raw material receiving to support operational efficiency
  • Loading and unloading rail cars, tank trucks, and isotanks
  • Receiving, verifying, and logging incoming products accurately
  • Managing and tracking product inventory, including tank levels, and communicating supply needs to the Plant Manager
  • Coordinating pump slab scheduling to support production demands
  • Assisting warehouse operations as needed to support plant workflow
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support plant operations


This is a hands-on, operational role that requires attention to detail, situational awareness, and the ability to work safely around industrial equipment and hazardous materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.   • A High School Diploma or GED is required and at least 2 years of prior experience in a plant, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
