Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Power Builder for a full-time position based in Cary, NC. The role involves managing development efforts using configuration management tools and requires proficiency in object-oriented programming with PowerBuilder, as well as experience in database management and GUI development.
Responsibilities:
• Experience and managing development efforts using a configuration management tool, such as GitHub, Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Systems life cycle (SDLC), relational databases and software engineering discipline.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming using latest version of PowerBuilder connecting to Sybase/ SQL Server environment.
• Experience in creation and modified/update new PB objects (windows, structures, functions, user objects using SQL).
• Experience in creating Sybase procedures/packages and other database objects.
• Experience in Implementing triggers to enforce business rules.
• Experience in developing new GUI pages for business needs.
• Experience in tune and monitor, MSSQL/ Sybase Server performance.
• Experience in enhancing existing GUI to become more user friendly.
Qualifications:
Required:

• Experience in Systems with 2 tiered and N-tiered architectures (5 years)
Preferred:
