• Respond to trauma alerts and conduct initial patient evaluations promptly to determine the severity of conditions.
• Stabilize patients through immediate interventions and treatments to prevent further health deterioration.
• Assist in resuscitation efforts in critical situations, employing life-saving techniques under guided protocols.
• Coordinate comprehensive care for trauma patients, working closely with the trauma team.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic results to inform treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by overseeing physicians, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Provide wound management and assist in invasive procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma care, recovery processes, and discharge plans.
• Facilitate the transfer of trauma patients to appropriate care units or facilities while ensuring continuity of care.
• Monitor and manage patients’ pain levels and discomfort actively, employing appropriate strategies for relief.
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols throughout trauma care operations.

The primary patient population includes individuals experiencing acute injuries and critical medical conditions, often resulting from accidents or emergencies. This role requires a proactive approach to assess diverse cases, ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening traumas. The position demands an individual with strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on treatment plans and recovery pathways, optimizing their healthcare experience within our facility.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field coupled with completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Arizona.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Solid clinical skills with a focus on trauma care; previous experience in emergency settings is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to assess trauma cases and implement stabilization protocols effectively.
• Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to perform under pressure in fast-paced circumstances while adapting to evolving patient needs.
• Familiarity with trauma-related medications and procedures.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or trauma care settings.
• Demonstrated capacity to work within interprofessional teams and coordinate patient-centered care strategies.
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest advancements in trauma medicine and continuous professional education.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
