Job Title: CMM Programmer / Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Programmer / Operator to support quality assurance and inspection activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for verifying product quality, developing and executing CMM programs, maintaining inspection data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on CMM programming experience and thrives in a production-driven setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with CMM operation and/or scanning/programming
- Experience creating and executing measurement programs using PC-DMIS and PolyWorks
- Background in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing-related roles
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with plant tools, gauges, and inspection equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused setting
Key Responsibilities
- Verify quality of products throughout the manufacturing process
- Measure parts to validate product conformance to specifications
- Create, execute, and modify CMM measurement programs using PC-DMIS and PolyWorks
- Perform scanning and inspection programming as required
- Create and maintain inspection reports using PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Maintain Web Reporter database and complete monthly inspection schedules
- Assist in containment and disposition of suspect or nonconforming material
- Conduct internal audits and routine visual inspections
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment or measurement issues
- Communicate inspection results and product status with Engineers and Management
- Calibrate and repair gauges and maintain the Gauge Calibration Schedule
- Support continuous improvement of quality control procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with coordination of plant operational activities as needed
