Ground instructors help students prepare for licensing exams and ensure they understand important safety procedures and protocols. Their role is crucial in building a strong foundation before students proceed to actual flight training.

To thrive as a Full Time Pilot Ground Instructor, you need an in-depth understanding of aviation theory, flight operations, and regulatory requirements, often supported by relevant pilot certifications such as a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), and an instructor certification. Familiarity with flight simulators, computer-based training systems, and learning management systems is essential.
