The Occupational Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in San Bernardino, a vibrant city known for its diverse community and commitment to health and wellness. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured schedule that facilitates a balanced work-life dynamic. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the individual goals and challenges of each patient, ensuring a focus on functional recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform activities of daily living.
• Educate patients and their families about effective home exercises and adaptive strategies to promote independence in daily tasks.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, medical doctors, and nursing staff to ensure integrated care for our patients.
• Document patient progress meticulously using electronic health records (EHR), adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in occupational therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.
• Provide guidance on the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices tailored to individual patient needs.

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and developmental disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients regain physical and cognitive functions, thereby improving their overall quality of life.

• A current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients and their families, fostering an environment of support and encouragement.
• Current certification in CPR/BLS is mandatory.

• At least two years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably within an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and patient management systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions for various conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and developmental challenges is desired.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
