Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
What You'll Learn & Do
โ€ข Prepare parts for powder coating: clean, wash, degrease, mask, and hang
โ€ข Operate powder coat and electrostatic spray equipment per specifications
โ€ข Load/unload parts on paint line and ovens
โ€ข Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality
โ€ข Inspect parts and perform touch-ups or rework as needed
โ€ข Adjust gun settings, powder flow, air pressure, and assist with color changes
โ€ข Clean and maintain spray equipment and booths
โ€ข Follow work instructions, quality standards, and spray patterns
โ€ข Maintain a clean, safe, and organized paint area
โ€ข Support production flow as a line handler and package/stage finished parts
โ€ข Communicate issues to supervisors and team members
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
โ€ข High school diploma or GED preferred
โ€ข Prior powder coating or painting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
โ€ข Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate spray and line equipment
โ€ข Ability to follow written and demonstrated work instructions
โ€ข Attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes
โ€ข Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
โ€ข Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and sit for long periods
โ€ข Comfortable working in hot or cold manufacturing environments
โ€ข Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays
