Job description

The Law Offices of Spar & Bernstein, a high-volume and fast-paced law firm, is seeking a creative, organized, and audience-focused Community Manager to join our marketing department and oversee the Firm's presence across social media and online review platforms.

Position Overview:

The Community Manager is responsible for publishing and managing organic social content, engaging with followers, supporting the Firm's online reputation, and helping grow its digital community. This role collaborates with the marketing and legal teams to develop timely, accurate, and engaging content that reflects the Firm's voice, expertise, and commitment to its clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and publish daily organic content across platforms including TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and others as applicable.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure content is timely, accurate, professional, and relevant to the Firm's audience.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and general inquiries, and help foster a positive and professional online community.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and legal team members to develop content highlighting legal topics, Firm updates, client successes, and community involvement.
  • Monitor social media performance, audience growth, and engagement to evaluate content and adjust strategy in coordination with the Marketing Director.
  • Identify relevant trends, platform features, hashtags, and content opportunities that can strengthen reach and engagement.
  • Support the Firm's online reputation by monitoring and responding to reviews and feedback in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to develop content addressing common client questions and relevant practice areas.
  • Export lead forms from social media business platforms three times daily and ensure they are delivered to the appropriate internal team.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar and portfolio of social media campaigns, content concepts, and performance results.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, community management, or digital content, preferably in a professional-services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms, publishing tools, business suites, analytics, and current content trends.
  • Experience with online reputation management, audience engagement, and social media reporting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume publishing schedule in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with sound judgment when handling public-facing questions and sensitive topics.
  • Experience in the legal industry or other professional services is a plus.
