Key Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with patients, establishing rapport that allows for open communication and effective therapy.

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostics to identify mental health disorders and create tailored treatment plans reflecting each patient's unique needs and circumstances.

• Lead both individual and couple therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote healing and personal growth.

• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans when necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Facilitate open discussions in group therapy settings, using group dynamics to foster support and community among participants.

• Refer clients to additional specialists or resources when appropriate, ensuring a holistic approach to their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health issues. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. Your expertise will help guide patients to healthier lifestyles and more effective coping strategies, making a significant impact on personal and family well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a prerequisite.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is a preferred asset.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a mental health counseling setting is required. Proficiency in working remotely with clients is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans, showcasing both strong therapeutic and counseling skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
