Position Overview

Work Environment

This position operates within a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and the ability to engage with clients from the comfort and safety of your home office. However, a commitment to community involvement is paramount, and the LCSW will occasionally participate in on-site outreach to ensure effective service delivery. This role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, requiring the successful candidate to work cohesively with multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with assigned clients experiencing significant mental health challenges and severe emotional disorders, providing empathetic therapeutic support.
• Actively participate as a team member, contributing to collective goals and demonstrating a collaborative spirit through regular team meetings and inter-departmental communication.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring that services are linked and accessible.
• Conduct evidence-based assessments and develop treatment strategies that align with the latest best practices in mental healthcare.
• Be proactive in crisis intervention, employing de-escalation techniques and offering immediate support when necessary.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as an on-call clinical resource as assigned, providing support to clients during and after program hours to respond to urgent needs.
• Participate actively in quality improvement committees, offering insights and suggestions to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily engage with a diverse patient population from various cultural backgrounds, reflecting their unique challenges and needs. This role will focus on individuals facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other serious emotional disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.
• Active LCSW licensure in the state is essential.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience in a clinical setting, specifically dealing with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
• Expertise in employing modern therapeutic techniques and crisis management with a focus on client empowerment and decision-making.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in working with diverse populations and a commitment to culturally competent care.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and Spanish, are strongly preferred to better serve our community.
• Previous experience in a community health clinic setting or similar organizational structure is desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data entry practices is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and 85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
