The Role
The candidate should have 2+ years of blaster experience of the blast process of surface preparation by operating blast equipment used to create a profile on a steel structure which will allow the coating treatment to adhere properly to the metal surfaces. The candidate will be trained in the use, care and safe operation of blast equipment furnished by the company. Candidates should be able to learn and perform safely, blast operations in tanks and voids as well as working heights such as staging, scaffolding and lifting equipment (JLG and scissors lift equipment).

Must Have
Must have an active C7 or C13 certification.
Must be able to take measurements or be willing to learn.
Must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug screen
Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb on a daily basis
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds
Must be able to perform overhead work
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Must be able to be clean shaven to wear a respirator
Must be able to perform work outdoors, year- round, in all weather conditions
Must be able to work at extreme heights
Must be able to work in small, tight, confined spaces
Must be willing to work any shift
