Industrial Painter/Blaster

Overview: Prepare surface for painting operations by cleaning, stripping, sanding, polishing, masking and abrasive blasting. Operate basket controls of industrial high reach to facilitate the completion of painting assignments. Perform work at any height necessary to accomplish pre-painting operations.

Erect, move and position staging, and/or elevated platforms to facilitate the work assignments. Operate forklift truck. Properly protect all personnel, facilities and equipment in surrounding areas where painting is being performed. Clean and keep working areas in orderly condition.


Job Requirements:

High school graduate/GED with some painting experience.

Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, working in confined areas. May be subject to working with hazardous waste


Equipment to be Used

Abrasive blasting equipment, conventional pressure sprayers, airless sprayers, and pressure sprayers, forklift & high reach
