• Problem solver - Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. Able to boil complex problems down to their constituent elements and then formulate and evaluate a range of alternative solutions. 
• A foundational and working knowledge of the Accounting Industry, including Tax and Audit
• Analyze various micro and macro business processes to create a complete picture of workflows and technical requirements for automation solutions
• Analyze business processes to identify and document key opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation
• Become a Subject Matter Expert on all business processes being analyzed for automation
• Work with stakeholders to perform impact analysis to ensure business readiness for automation solutions, including facilitating business process documentation changes and employee/client readiness and adoption
• Evaluate business processes and align appropriate automation solution(s) to ensure they meet business requirements and needs 
• Continuously analyze and monitor implemented solutions to ensure optimal performance and opportunities for continuous improvement as well as debug and quickly resolve any issues that periodically arise
• Execute work leveraging Agile and Scrum methodology; gather requirements in Epics, Features, and User Stories; define acceptance criteria, appropriately size stories.
• Serve as the team's Scrum Master, facilitating all Agile ceremonies - daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Own and maintain the team backlog, partnering with Process Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and groom work items ahead of each sprint
• Act as a servant leader to the team, proactively identifying and removing impediments to keep delivery on track
• Facilitate and coordinate requirements walk-throughs and signoffs working with key business and technology stakeholders 
• Leverage influence to drive work among disparate teams with competing priorities 
• Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice; work with teams to drive a continuous improvement mindset that is always looking for ways to improve efficiency
• Lead collaboration activities with internal and external business and technology members and stakeholders throughout automation lifecycle  
• Work within defined Software Development Lifecycle governance processes

• Understanding of Agile methodology, Scrum Framework, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 

Preferred Skills:

• Foundational knowledge of computer science and software development fundamentals 
• Prior consulting experience 
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
• Experience with data analysis leveraging database principles: Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience and exposure to Automation and BPM tools and capabilities such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Pega, WorkFusion, Azure, Microsoft Power, AI, ML, NLP, etc. is a major plus
