Job description

Job Description: Account Executive
Company: GoKeyless
Location: Miamisburg, OH
Reports To: Vice President of GoKeyless Build
Department: Build
Employment Type: Full-Time
Date Modified: May 2026
Market Focus: Multi-Family • Hospitality • Vacation Rentals
About GoKeyless
At GoKeyless, we connect people with the technology that keeps their properties safe, secure, and easy to operate. As a nationwide Value Added Reseller aligned with ASSA ABLOY and other leading manufacturers, we deliver smart access solutions to multi-family, hospitality, vacation rental, and commercial customers across the country.
We're looking for an Account Executive who wants to own real accounts, build long-term customer relationships, and close real revenue - not just chase one-off transactions.
Job Overview
Reporting to the VP, GoKeyless Build, the Account Executive owns Managed Territory-tier accounts in Multi-Family, Hospitality, and Vacation Rentals - plus applicable Contractor relationships. You run the full sales cycle across every way we deliver:
Box Sales-transactional product orders that ship and go.
Configured Sales-in-facility programming or keying, no on-site install.
Project Sales-full solutions with GoKeyless installation on site.
You take warm-transfer handoffs from our Inbound Sales team, run consultative discovery, build the recommendation, close the deal, and hand off cleanly to Care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own your book: Manage assigned accounts end to end - discovery through close through renewal.
  • Run the full cycle: Sell across Box, Configured, and Project Sales. Self-quote and self-enter your own NetSuite orders on most deals; partner with Pricing and Project Purchasing on complex ones.
  • Sell consultatively: Understand the customer's environment and decision process before recommending. Sell value, not parts.
  • Attach the experience: Attach GK Cares and GK Shield on every closed deal - it's how we deliver a reliable post-sale experience.
  • Forecast cleanly: Keep NetSuite opportunities current. Submit monthly forecasts the VP can actually rely on.
  • Hand off cleanly: Brief the Project Manager directly, lock the SOW, and partner with the Customer Care Manager on retention.
  • Grow the account: Drive follow-on Box orders, additional Configured cycles, multi-property Project Sales, and renewals.
  • Use AI well: Lean on Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot to accelerate research, proposals, and CRM documentation - and protect your time for the consultative work.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
  • 3+ years of consultative B2B sales experience with documented quota attainment.
  • Experience selling across transactional, configured, and project-based delivery - or clear ability to learn it fast.
  • Strong account ownership instincts - you build relationships, not just transactions.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite or a comparable CRM/ERP; comfort with RingCentral and Intercom.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in your daily workflow.

Nice-To-Haves:
  • Background in security access, building technology, multi-family, hospitality, or vacation rentals.
  • VAR or distribution experience with strategic manufacturer partner relationships.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field - or equivalent sales experience.

Attributes:
  • Consultative-You discover before you recommend.
  • Account-minded-You treat Managed accounts as long-term relationships.
  • Disciplined-Pipeline hygiene, forecast accuracy, and CRM completeness aren't optional for you.
  • Collaborative-You partner cleanly with Inbound Sales, Sales Ops, Pricing, PMs, and Customer Care.
  • Customer-first-You recommend what's right for the customer - every time.
  • AI-forward-You actively use AI to accelerate the routine work.

Why Join GoKeyless?
  • Impact-Own real accounts end to end with the full GoKeyless delivery portfolio behind you.
  • Growth-Full-cycle sales role with cross-pillar reach into delivery, finance, and partner programs at a fast-growing company.
  • Team-Partner directly with the VP of Build, Sales Operations, Pricing, Project Management, and Customer Care.
  • Benefits-Competitive base + commission, comprehensive health and 401(k), eligibility for company incentive programs, and clear paths for career growth.
