CNC Machine Operator / CNC Technician (Murata – Fanuc Controls)


2nd and 3rd shifts


$19.00–$30.00/hr (Based on Experience)


Full-Time | Columbus, IN Area

We are actively hiring skilled CNC Operators and CNC Technicians with programming experience to join a growing manufacturing team running Murata CNC machines with Fanuc controllers and logic. If you have strong machining skills, can read and edit G-code, or have experience with Murata equipment, we want to talk to you.


About the Role

You will operate, set up, and/or program CNC machines in a high‐precision environment. This position offers long‐term stability, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement for candidates who demonstrate strong machining knowledge and problem‐solving ability.


Responsibilities

  • Operate Murata CNC machines using Fanuc controls
  • Perform setups, tooling changes, offsets, and first‐article inspections
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications
  • Monitor machine performance, adjust feeds/speeds, and maintain part quality
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and minor mechanical problems
  • Edit or write basic G‐code (for CNC Tech roles)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area


Qualifications

  • Experience operating CNC mills/lathes (Murata experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong understanding of Fanuc controls and logic
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
  • Knowledge of tooling, offsets, and machining best practices
  • CNC programming or G‐code editing experience is a plus
  • Reliable, safety‐focused, and able to work independently


Pay & Schedule

  • Operators/techs: $19–$30/hr+ depending on skill level
  • Full-time, consistent schedule
  • Overtime opportunities available
