Job Summary:
SMS Infocomm is a company seeking a Computer Technician responsible for providing computer diagnostics and repairs. The role involves taking apart and re-assembling computer components, resolving hardware issues, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts.
โ€ข Resolve hardware technical issues within time schedule and provide the break and fix solution using in-house system
โ€ข May manually set up computer systems and hardware and install or re-install software programs for computer users.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
โ€ข Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.
โ€ข Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times.
โ€ข Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the companys culture.
โ€ข Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Working towards completing A+ certification.
โ€ข Still attending tech school.
โ€ข Should have solid 1-2 years of repair experience (in computer repair?).
โ€ข Worked in low production PC type environment.
โ€ข Experienced in 1-2 OEMs.
โ€ข Knowledge of simple or repetitive component replacement such as LCD/HDD for multiple commodities.
โ€ข Should have working knowledge of different models of all major computer/electronics manufacturers.
โ€ข Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power-point, etc.
โ€ข Demonstrated skill set while working with Temp Agency.
