We are currently seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer for our client in the Consulting Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote)

Salary: $70.00-$90.00/Hourly

Role: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Primary Skills: MS Azure

Role Description: The Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer must have 10+ years of experience. For this role, you must be a Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric experience to help build and scale a modern data platform that will support future AI and advanced analytics initiatives.

This role will focus on designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric infrastructure, developing data pipelines using Python and PySpark, and enabling data readiness for upcoming AI projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Fabric data infrastructure

- Develop and optimize data pipelines using PySpark and Python

- Work with Fabric components such as:

• Lakehouse

• Data Engineering workloads

• OneLake

Dataflows/Notebooks

- Ingest, transform, and curate data from multiple sources

- Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability

- Collaborate with analytics and AI teams to prepare data for AI/ML use cases

- Support and enhance existing data models and pipelines

- Follow best practices for data engineering, security, and governance

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric

- Proficiency in Python and PySpark

- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines

- Good understanding of data lakes and distributed data processing

- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No
