Job description

We are seeking an experienced MES Project Manager to lead Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ERP-related initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, MES implementations, SAP ERP integrations, and cross-functional team leadership. This role requires managing system enhancements, upgrades, testing, production support, and driving projects through successful completion.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage MES, manufacturing systems, and ERP-related projects from planning through implementation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within scope.
  • Oversee MES integrations with ERP systems and support manufacturing process improvements.
  • Manage system upgrades, maintenance activities, production support, and issue resolution.
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and deployment activities.
  • Facilitate project meetings, manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and process-related issues impacting manufacturing operations.
  • Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience supporting MES, manufacturing systems, or SAP/ERP initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their integration with ERP platforms.
  • Experience managing system upgrades, testing cycles, maintenance activities, and production support.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects successfully.
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing systems and process-related issues.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
  • Experience supporting MES integrations with SAP manufacturing processes and routings.
  • Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience working with one or more Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platforms.
