Position Overview

North Land Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking full-time Mental Health Counselors, specifically licensed as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT). This position offers the unique opportunity to provide telehealth services, allowing you to connect with clients remotely and make a significant impact on their mental well-being.

Work Environment

As part of our telehealth initiative, this role allows you to provide client care from the comfort of your home or any location conducive to effective therapy delivery. You will engage with a diverse patient population through a secure digital platform. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility depending on client availability and needs, thus promoting a sustainable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments through virtual sessions to identify clients' mental health needs and establish a baseline for therapeutic intervention.
  • Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to formulate personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring seamless care continuity.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to enhance the therapeutic process for clients.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at refining therapeutic methods and improving client care outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources in the community.
  • Stay informed about the latest research trends and methodologies in the mental health field to continually enhance the quality of care delivered.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, with clients ranging from various age groups and backgrounds, each experiencing different levels of mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals facing traumatic experiences, anxiety disorders, depression, and more. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
  • Proficient in using evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment strategies, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport and maintaining effective therapeutic relationships.
