Now Hiring: 3rd Shift Mental Health Technician
Location: Tustin, CA
Schedule: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time Overnight

About Connections Mental Health:
We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to our clients. Join our overnight team and play a vital role in ensuring safety, structure, and therapeutic support during non-traditional hours.

Position Overview:
As an Overnight Mental Health Technician, you will be a key part of our overnight team, responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment. You will complete client intakes, assist with medication passes, conduct rounds, and provide critical observations while ensuring compliance with facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and protocols

  • Complete client intakes and maintain documentation in EMR

  • Assist with data entry and client file organization

  • Support clients in complying with facility rules and contracts

  • Conduct regular rounds and med passes as required

  • Maintain cleanliness by organizing supplies and materials

  • Document client care and communicate effectively with supervisors

Expectations:

  • Dependable and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision

  • Accurate, timely documentation and charting

  • Positive, cooperative attitude with clients and team members

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing routines

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • CPR and First Aid certification

Work Environment:

  • Usually quiet setting

  • May require sitting for extended periods

  • Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs

  • Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals

Health & Safety Requirements:

  • TB test within one year prior to or 7 days after employment; annual thereafter

  • Health screening upon hire

  • Must pass a Livescan/background check in accordance with California law
