Overview

Florida Woman Care is actively recruiting aFull Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our established, physician-led practice in Winter Haven, Florida. Nestled between Tampa and Orlando along the I-4 corridor,Winter Havenoffers the best of both worldseasy access to major metro amenities with a lower cost of living and a strong sense of community. Position Highlights:

  • Team Based Care: Join a team of 2 Ob-Gyn physicians, 2 Certified Nurse Midwives, 3 Womens Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNPs), and a full clinical support staff, including a Rad Tech. We offer in-office sonograms and ultrasound imaging.
  • Call Structure:Call- 24 Hour call 1 day a week, the following day will be scheduled off.
  • Practice Setting: Single site, located in Winter Haven, FL equipped with onsite ultrasound, Medtronic InterStim systems, and Screening Mammography in office.
  • Hospital Resources: Access to a Level II NICU, MFM, da Vinci robotic surgical system, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
    • 1.5 miles away from the clinic
    • round-the-clock care by highly trained neonatologists
    • Provider back up at the hospital
  • Volume:
    • 20-25 patients per day
    • On average 40-50 deliveries per month

Requirements:

  • AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
  • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
  • Masters degree in nursing (MS/MSN)
  • Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
  • CPR and NALS Certification
  • One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
