Job description

Houston, TX | On-Site | Full-Time
Marketing Director – B2C Growth & Lead Generation
SpaceManager Closets, Houston’s largest custom closet and built-in cabinetry company, is looking for a high-energy, hands-on Marketing Director to lead our next stage of growth.
This is a great opportunity for a B2C marketer who wants to own the marketing function AND do the work.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and take ownership of generating qualified homeowner leads and booked design consultations. You’ll personally drive much of our marketing — paid campaigns, HubSpot, lead generation, content, email, landing pages, analytics, and conversion — while working closely with our in-house videographer and select outside specialists.
This is not a “manage the agency” marketing job.
We need someone who likes getting into the work, testing ideas, watching the numbers, and figuring out how to generate more qualified leads and revenue.
 WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Own the B2C marketing strategy and day-to-day execution.
  • Generate qualified homeowner leads and booked design consultations.
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads, paid social, and digital campaigns.
  • Own marketing performance, including cost per lead, conversion rates, website traffic, booked consultations, and marketing-influenced revenue.
  • Manage HubSpot, marketing automation, lead nurture, attribution, and reporting.
  • Build and improve landing pages, offers, forms, email campaigns, and conversion paths.
  • Lead our content strategy based on the questions homeowners actually ask about cost, options, comparisons, design, and process.
  • Work closely with our videographer to develop compelling project, educational, customer, and social video content.
  • Partner with sales/design to understand lead quality, buyer questions, objections, and conversion.
  • Drive local SEO, reviews, website performance, email, social media, and other B2C growth initiatives.
  • Manage select outside marketing vendors and specialists when needed.
  • Test new channels, campaigns, offers, creative, and AI tools to find new growth opportunities.
  • Build the marketing calendar and keep projects moving.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a high-energy marketing operator who likes making things happen.
You can think strategically, but you don’t need a team to execute every idea for you. You’re comfortable moving between the big picture and the details — from discussing growth strategy with the CEO to reviewing an ad campaign, writing copy, analyzing HubSpot data, or brainstorming videos.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of B2C marketing experience with measurable responsibility for lead generation, customer acquisition, or revenue growth.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, paid social, digital marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and lead generation.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM/marketing automation platform.
  • Strong understanding of landing pages, funnels, conversion optimization, attribution, and lead nurturing.
  • Comfortable using analytics and marketing data to make decisions.
  • Strong writing, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and move projects forward without waiting to be told what to do.
EXPERIENCE WE’D LOVE TO SEE
Experience marketing directly to homeowners in any of these industries is a strong plus:
  • Home improvement
  • Home services
  • Remodeling
  • Custom closets or cabinetry
  • Kitchen and bath
  • Roofing, windows, flooring, HVAC, or similar residential services
  • Interior design
  • Residential construction
  • Other high-ticket B2C or considered-purchase businesses
Experience with local SEO, Google Business Profile, video marketing, They Ask, You Answer, conversion optimization, and AI marketing tools is also a plus.
YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU ARE:
High energy. High ownership. Low ego.
You bring ideas instead of waiting for assignments.
You like testing new approaches and measuring what happens.
You see an underperforming campaign and want to fix it.
You can work independently but collaborate easily with sales, leadership, our videographer, and outside partners.
You’re comfortable being accountable for a number.
And you’d rather build, launch, measure, and improve than spend three weeks talking about what we might launch.
 HOW YOU’LL BE MEASURED
Success will be measured by:
  • Qualified marketing leads
  • Cost per lead
  • Cost per booked consultation
  • Lead-to-consultation conversion
  • Website traffic and conversion
  • Paid media performance
  • Content and video production
  • Marketing-influenced pipeline and revenue

WHY SPACEMANAGER?
SpaceManager has been serving Houston homeowners for more than 25 years. We design, manufacture, and install our products in-house, giving our marketing team something valuable to work with: a real product, real projects, real transformations, and real customer stories.
Now we’re building the marketing engine for our next stage of growth.
You’ll have direct access to the CEO, meaningful ownership, an in-house videographer, resources to execute, and room to test new ideas.
This is an opportunity to become the marketing leader who can say:
“I built that growth engine.”
If you’re a hands-on B2C marketer who wants ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact, we’d like to hear from you.
