JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking to kickstart a career in specialized manufacturing? We are seeking a motivated Full-Time Manufacturing Production Assistant in our Flexographic Print Department


No experience in printing? No problem. We'll train you!


We are a well established, commercial flexible packaging manufacturer, looking for help in our large format, high speed (flexographic) print department. This is a unique developmental role designed to provide hands-on training and potential for future advancement within the company.


Tejas is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Production Assistant to join our Flexographic Printing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and developing technical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Schedule
  • Typically 45 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays as needed
  • Time and a half pay for all hours worked over 40 per week


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential production support by assisting press operators with machine setup, startup, and material loading.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety through routine cleaning of the printing press and ink systems.
  • Monitor production flow and learn technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Work closely with experienced operators and production personnel to develop technical manufacturing skills.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn technical skills
  • Attention to detail with good eyesight with ability to distinguish colors and fine details
