Job description

BIOLYPH is seeking detail-oriented Production Associates to join our team. This is a full-time, long-term position with a starting pay of $25.00 per hour, a 4 day work week, and excellent benefits.

Production Associates support BIOLYPH’s business model by performing detailed packaging activities for our Clients’ IVD/RUO products Effectively, Efficiently, and Economically in a controlled manufacturing environment. The role requires sustained attention to detail, adherence to work instructions, and collaboration with team members. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy precise, hands-on work, value quality and consistency, and are interested in building a stable, long-term career. New employees typically require significant training to become fully proficient, making this position ideal for candidates seeking ongoing employment rather than short-term work. This is a primarily seated role involving repetitive, detail-focused tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Attend daily meetings and follow production schedules.
  • Perform packaging activities from product entry through exit of the packaging suite.
  • Conduct bin checks to identify non-compliant product.
  • Ensure packaging supplies are properly stocked.
  • Count, prepare, and package product for shipment.
  • Accurately complete required documentation.
  • Follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Interact with coworkers in a respectful, team-oriented manner.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Comfort performing repetitive tasks with sustained focus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

The following requirements are essential to the position and may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform precise hand movements and manipulate small components.
  • Ability to visually inspect very small items and distinguish product features as required by work instructions. 
  • Normal vision acuity and ability to identify and distinguish colors (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch, twist, and push/pull up to 25 lbs occasionally.
