Location: Saint James, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–9:00 PM window; candidate will work 8 hours within this timeframe
Compensation: $120k–$140k per year, Paid via W2 (on the books)

A private household in Saint James, NY is seeking an experienced full-time Live-Out Private Chef to manage the household’s daily meal preparation, kitchen operations, grocery shopping, menu planning, and overall culinary needs. This is a long-term opportunity for a polished, discreet, and highly professional chef with strong private household experience.
Main Responsibilities:
  •  Prepare daily meals for the household according to preferences, dietary needs, and schedule.
  •  Plan weekly menus and offer thoughtful meal suggestions.
  •  Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and meal prep as needed.
  •  Shop for groceries and specialty ingredients.
  •  Maintain household food inventory and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  •  Keep the kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, freezer, and food storage areas clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  •  Handle proper food labeling, storage, rotation, and sanitation.
  •  Prepare meals for casual family dining as well as occasional formal or informal entertaining.
  •  Assist with plating, serving, and butler-style meal service when needed.
  •  Coordinate with the principals regarding menus, preferences, events, and household needs.
  •  Assist with wine organization and wine service as needed.
  •  Run food-related errands, pickups, and specialty shopping as requested.
  •  Maintain a high level of cleanliness, professionalism, discretion, and food safety at all times.
  •  Provide light household support as needed, especially in connection with kitchen, dining, and entertaining needs.
