What will you do? * Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards * Follow department rules, policies, and procedures * Make sure food reaches and stays at the proper temperatures * Store food correctly and maintain the freshness and quality of menu items * Package products according to the restaurant's specifications * Keep your workstation, coolers, and kitchen equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked * Follow waste-control procedures and record food waste on the spoilage sheet * Perform opening duties, closing duties, side work, and end-of-day inventory.Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards More about you * Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook * Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision * Ability to follow procedures and take directions * Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions * No high school diploma or GED required Physical requirements * Lift 50+ pounds * Reach as high as 7 feet * Bend and squat * Stand and walk for the entire shift * Work in moderate-to-high noise * Repeatedly chop, mix, blend, and whip foods/liquids * Operate commercial kitchen equipment Shift details Days Evenings Holidays M-F Weekends 8hr shift 10hr shift 12hr shift OT as needed Who we are Delaware North is a leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most famous kitchens in the world.
