JOB SUMMARY
Join our growing team and play a vital role in supporting customers, field representatives, and laboratory operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position offers a unique blend of customer service, laboratory support, and operational responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building relationships. As a Lab Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key connection between our customers, field teams, laboratories, and vendors, helping ensure a seamless experience from sample submission through reporting and follow-up. You'll gain exposure to both chemistry and microbiology laboratory operations while contributing to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support our growing business.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, external labs, internal departments and field representatives regarding orders, quotes, purchase orders, lab results, troubleshooting, questions, etc.
  • Develop quotes for customers and field representatives.
  • Enter orders placed by customers and field representatives into the ordering system.
  • Complete orders in our system to be shipped and invoiced.
  • Enter lab samples into intake database.
  • Send reports to customers/reps.
  • Become proficient with testing meters and reagents.
  • Compile paperwork (intake, analysis request form and lab worksheet), scan and upload to SharePoint folder.
  • Edit reports as needed.
  • Inventory sample bottles.
  • Send samples to external labs.
  • Request quotes from vendors (reagents/external labs).
  • File reports.
  • Order Lab CS supplies (bottle labels, sample bottles, tape, boxes & etc.).
  • Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.
  • Work on special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong relevant qualitative and quantitative skills
  • Self-motivated team player who demonstrates integrity, sound character, leadership ability, and strong social skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attentiveness to detail
  • Data entry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems and techniques in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is between $20 - $23 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
