QA/QC Engineer (MEP/Cx)

Data center project field QA/QC role thatis responsibletoexecutethe JLL-SKAE QA/QC Program throughout the L1-L5 commissioning (Cx) levels or specifiedresponsibilitiesbased on ourclients'requirements. It is required to work onsite full-time (40-50 hoursa week) with the potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Review MEP Drawings, approvedsubmittalsand specifications as needed

  • Inspect incoming MEP equipment and complete the required receiving checklist on the required software platform

  • If required,perform preparatory phase meetings with all subcontractors and confirm readiness towork onsite

  • Review MEP mockups for equipment or specific systems asrequiredper specifications

  • Document and track all required QA/QC deliverables and test reports during L2and L3(NETA, Short Circuit Study, Torque/Megger sheets,TABetc...)

  • Ensure that allset-inplace inspection checklists are completed by JLL-SKAE and the subs/vendors

  • Perform inspection for foreign object debris (FOD)inside MEP equipmentifrequired

  • Perform final equipment inspection prior to L3 Energization.

  • Ensure all L3 document deliverables including startup reports are provided.

  • Assistwith the development of methods of procedure (MOP's) for specific equipment and systems.

  • Track and organize all required documentation for L1-L3 on Procore or other software platform

  • Record observations and issues in the required software platform during walk throughs and inspections

  • Manage all issues and observations in the required software platform and ensuretimelycloseout

Qualifications

  • Ability to be a self-starter

  • OSHA-30 certified or within30 daysof employment

  • At least 3 years of data center experience

  • At least 2 years of QA/QC experience

  • Strong familiarity with theCx/QA/QC process

  • Strong onsite safety awareness

  • Is willing to be a traveler and assigned to projects in other regions in the US.

  • Preferred- Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) certified

  • Preferred- NFPA-70E certified

  • Preferred- Work experience with high profile data center clients

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

90,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
