Job description


A private, co-educational international high school in New York is seeking a full-time Development (Fundraising) & Head of School Office Manager. Set on a beautiful, green campus, this role offers the opportunity to play a central part in school operations and leadership support.
Start Date: August 1, 2026
Location: On-campus (New York)
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute fundraising strategies
  • Organize and manage fundraising events
  • Oversee donation management and donor relations
  • Maintain donor database
  • Plan and host donor receptions
  • Provide executive support to the Head of School (calendar and administrative support)
  • Prepare Board of Directors meetings (agenda, minutes, attendance tracking)
  • Serve as corporate secretary
  • Oversee administrative office operations

Requirements
  • Relevant professional experience, including management experience
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese and English (Japanese preferred)
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel) and database management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Experience in fundraising, investor relations, external relations, or sales is a plus
