Title: Area Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to support the installation of production equipment at a Panasonic Energy manufacturing facility. The role will focus on field supervision, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality, scheduling, and project progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise subcontractors and field employees during equipment installation.
  • Coordinate daily site activities, schedules, manpower, and materials.
  • Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and project progress.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and project requirements.
  • Maintain daily logs, progress reports, schedules, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and project management.
  • Assist with project close-out and completion activities.
  • Support communication with Japanese stakeholders and equipment manufacturers.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of experience in industrial construction, mechanical/electrical installation, equipment installation, or related fields.
  • Experience working on manufacturing, plant construction, or industrial projects preferred.
  • Strong field coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, OSHA safety standards, and basic contract concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and project reporting.
  • Ability to work within project schedules and budgets.
  • Japanese language skills or experience working with Japanese companies/stakeholders is a plus.
Work Environment
