Full-Time Housekeeper / Janitor

Day Shift | Every Other Weekend Required

About the Role

High Point Residence Taylorville is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Janitor to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure our community remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, families, visitors, and team members.

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of resident common areas, hallways, dining rooms, restrooms, offices, and other community spaces while contributing to a comfortable and positive living environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and proper storage practices
