Job description

Tenet Healthcare, in partnership with a well-established private cardiology practice, is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to support continued growth and expansion in Scottsdale, Arizona. This progressive group, founded in 2015, uniquely operates both an office-based lab (OBL) and an ambulatory surgery center (ASC), allowing physicians to deliver seamless, high-quality care under one roof. This opportunity offers a balance of professional fulfillment and a desirable lifestyle in the Phoenix area.

Practice Info

  • Join a collaborative team of four cardiologists, including Interventional and EP expertise
  • Fully equipped OBL and ASC for minimally invasive procedures
  • Hybrid ORs and cath labs available through affiliated hospitals
  • Onsite nuclear medicine and imaging for efficient, coordinated care
  • Work alongside 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Physician Assistant, a dedicated support staff, and 3 experienced sonographers

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time Interventional Cardiology services
  • Manage 35% inpatient and outpatient consults/procedures
  • Provide 65% outpatient care, including OBL- and ASC-based procedures
  • Participate in shared call rotation among four cardiologists
  • Manage approximately 20 patients per day
  • Perform 4-6 procedures per week

Compensation

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time Interventional Cardiology opportunity
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility for inpatient needs
  • Shared call rotation among four cardiologists

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care
  • J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available
