The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Interoperability Manager to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an Interoperability Engineering Manager, you will lead the interoperability function ensuring reliable order intake, modality integration, report delivery, and billing data exchange across EHR, RIS, PACS, and external referring systems. Work closely with business stakeholders, business relationship managers, and the development teams to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(40%) Customer and Product Management

  • You will play a critical role in shaping our interface strategy by ensuring the alignment of customer insights, business needs, and technology innovation.
  • This highly visible role will collaborate cross-functionally to define unmet interface needs and deliver forward-thinking solutions that support our mission.
  • Determine clear and specific priorities for the development of new interfaces and enhancements by defining customer needs and collaborating with internal functional groups
  • Drive Voice of Customer efforts throughout the interface development process to ensure market specifications are incorporated into each phase
  • Oversee the incoming project pipeline and make strategic recommendations to optimize offerings and drive future growth
  • Serve as the interface lead on cross-functional project core teams during new product development, ideation, and launch phases
(30%) Leadership & Team Management
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and abilities, remaining approachable and objective
  • Manage all hiring and retention processes, responsible for initial and ongoing training of new & existing team members
  • Initiate and participate in team member performance evaluations, compensation, and development, and conduct performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and/or up to termination if necessary
  • Facilitate and lead regular team meetings and team member one-on-one (1:1) meeting's with each direct report team member and ensure your direct report leaders are doing the same.
  • Mentor and support team members, encouraging a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning and improvement
  • Manage a team of developers and interoperability product managers passionate about building data interoperability solutions, including HL7, establishing best practices, frameworks, and standards
  • Responsible for the end to end interface development lifecycle, including project management.
  • Lead and manage design, architect, and deliver a data interoperability framework that enables seamless connectivity across applications (Fusion, Synapse), and clinical tools as part of a unified platform
  • Determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths
  • Partner with interface product managers to capture, validate, and translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications and delivery plans
  • Promote Agile development practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
(25%) Interface Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Monitors the IT Service Management system (ServiceNow) and assigns new incidents or service requests to appropriate resources based on skill set and availability.
  • Manages daily reviews of interface issues, support requests; and ensures the accuracy and integrity of data transmitted.
  • Ensures the Interoperability developers and product managers provide timely resolutions to minimize disruptions and adhere to defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Responsible for documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provides off-hours support for critical maintenance or problem resolution and manages the on call support
