Full Time - Insurance Advisor
Location: Pickering, ON

Desjardins is a financial services company specializing in Property and Casualty insurance i.e. Auto and Fire (both personal and commercial), Life insurance, Living Benefits, and Mutual Funds. Dan Piedimonte Desjardins Insurance is an Agency located in Pickering. We are looking for a permanent, full-time Insurance Advisor who can contribute to this Agency and help it grow. The person must be sales-oriented, self-starter has excellent customer service and sales skills.

About The Role
We’re looking for an Insurance Advisor to join our growing team! As an Insurance Advisor, you will have big impact on our overall growth stategy.
You will already have or be willing to obtain OTL/RIBO provincal license to sell car and home insurance along with LLQP license to sell Life insurance. This is a full-time role 36.5 hour work week in a small local agent office. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5:00 pm.

What You’ll Do Here
• Cross selling or upselling Home, Auto , Life and Vehicle Loans to new and existing clients
• Devlop leads
• Handling phone and email inquiries and requests from new and existing clients
• Schedule appointments
• Identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services base on client needs.
Qualifications What you bring to the table:
• Be driven this is a base salary plus commissions
• 2+ years sales experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Be self-motivated, with an ambition to be the best
• Ability to network and connect with people in a fast manner
• OTL/RIBO and LLQP designation would be an asset
• Previous experience selling in person and over the phone
