Job description

Responsibilities This is an Adjunct Insurance Instructor position. The successful candidate should be able to teach Insurance Fundamentals, Property/Liability Insurance, Personal Insurance and Commercial Insurance. The classes are offered in an online, asynchronous 8-week format using Blackboard Ultra and candidates need to have online teaching experience and proficient use of Blackboard Ultra.

Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale Schedule Information: Days depending upon course schedule ***This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates for the above subjects. As teaching needs arise, these applications will be reviewed for possible interviews*** The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months.

The successful candidate should be able to teach Insurance Fundamentals, Property/Liability Insurance, Personal Insurance and Commercial Insurance.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline and the Institutes industry certification. Equivalent of one year's full-time non-teaching work experience in insurance.

Experience Requirements: College level teaching experience or demonstrated ability to teach subject matter. Must have a minimum of 3 years of business experience in insurance. Required Documents: ***A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process*** * Official transcripts required upon hire * Employment is contingent upon Criminal Background Check.
