Zanasi USA – Service Technician

As a leading distributor in the industrial inkjet coding and marking industry, Zanasi USA is seeking an experienced Service Technician to support the Zanasi USA team!

Qualified candidates will be responsible for installing, servicing, and supporting industrial inkjet printing equipment to various industries. These printers typically apply human and machine-readable information onto many popular consumer goods. Work duties include:

• Troubleshooting electrical/low-pressure fluid systems

• Repairing/replacing system components

• System software installation and troubleshooting

• Installation of new systems at customer sites

• Operator and maintenance personnel training

• Technical support to customers via phone, email, or virtual meeting interface

Additional duties will also include:

• Maintaining industrial business equipment at the our main office

• Coordinating with Sales on customer needs for applications/recommendations

• Maintaining the service area to company standards

• Other duties are possible as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Five plus years experience in Customer/Field Service/Technical Service (preferred)

• Working knowledge of industrial inkjet equipment (preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve machine issues using practical techniques and instrumentation

• Able to interpret schematic diagrams and drawings

• Ability to train others on the use and maintenance of equipment

• Strong communication skills

• Customer service focused approach to supporting the customer base

• Demonstrated ability to process information and develop written procedures that are clear and accurate, professional communication, verbal and written skills

• Able to interface with customers and employees at all levels within the organization and communicate effectively with them

• Possess basic knowledge of Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering departmental functions and how they interface

• Proficient in the use of standard office software programs and equipment

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Comfortable working in multiple environments including office, workshop, manufacturing facilities

• Must be able to travel 10 - 15% local and/or overnights

• Must be able to reliably commute to the primary office location in Maple Grove, MN

This is a permanent full-time position. Typical hours will be: M - F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
