Job Description
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments to maintain and improve patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Accurately document patient medical histories, treatment plans, and clinical notes using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Implement and maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Assist dentists in developing and coordinating personalized treatment plans.
Provide specialized care and support in pediatric dentistry, addressing the unique needs of younger patients.
Stay current with best practices in dental hygiene through ongoing professional development and training.
Salary Range
Full-time $65 - $70 per hour

Requirements
- Licensed dental hygienist
Valid Dental Hygienist license according to Washington state regulations.
Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control standards.
Excellent documentation skills and keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient interactions.
Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends as needed.
Preferences
Experience working in a dental clinic or office preferred.
Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus.
Prior dental assisting experience is beneficial but not required.
