We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our care team. Full-Time shifts, 36-40 hours a week, rotating weekends and holidays across multiple locations.
As a Radiology Technologist at Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care, you will directly and positively impact the health and well-being of our patients.
You will:
- Position patient correctly for radiological procedures
- Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Review and evaluate images to determine quality and if they need to be redone
- Maintain radiology equipment
- Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
- Ensure systems and processes are being followed and assure the clinical quality of the services performed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Iowa Permit to Practice Radiography
- Current ARRT certification
- Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program
- Valid driver's license and no prior restrictions/penalties on state-issued healthcare licenses

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Hours: 36 – 40 hours per week, rotating holiday and weekends at multiple locations

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 25+ pounds at rare times with or without assistance
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 10 – 25 pounds semi-often
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 0 – 10 pounds frequently
- Environmental Requirements: Moderate levels of sound, consistent amount of moving around between rooms required, in a temperature-controlled environment, and consistently working with the general public.
