The Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago Downtown is in search of an exceptional, results-oriented Hotel Manager to lead the operational efforts of this iconic property. Nestled within the architectural masterpiece that is the Aqua Tower and situated in the heart of Chicago's vibrant downtown, our hotel represents the pinnacle of hospitality.
In this role, you will guide a highperforming operations team, elevate the hotel's guest experience, and drive topline performance through strategic leadership, datadriven decision making, and strong collaboration with hotel leadership.

Salary Range: $148,500 - $200,000
Key Responsibilities:
Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the hotelwhich are aligned withChoice Hotelsoverall mission, visionvaluesand strategies
Develops and implements strategies for hotel operations that support achievement of the hotel's goals
Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate
Develops the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Committee
Participates in the development of the annual marketing, sales and yield management plans and strategies
Continuallyimprovehotel operations and adheres toRadisson Blubrand standards
Maximizes profitability and revenue by directing the hotel operations
Directs hotel operationsin accordance withRadisson Blu's standards of operations
Develops and implements operating procedures and standards that supportemployees'in service and teamwork
Analyzes business results on a regular basis andtakes actions to improveresults as appropriate
Leverages system-wideexpertiseand resources where possiblein order toincorporate best practices and deliver services on acost effectivebasis
Setsobjectivesfor each department and supervises the department manager
Implements the approved budget; monitors revenues and costson a daily basisand takes corrective action
Controls costs by adhering to standards of operations for forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, payrollcontroland other expense management systems
Develops and implements strategies and practices which support employee engagement
Develops and recruits the human resources necessary to achieve hotel and Management Services' goals
Directs the development and implementation of strategies and practices which support employee engagement throughout the hotel
Oversees allfacetsof human resources management including the recruitment and selection, training & development, compensation,recognitionand performance management of the work force
Takes active role in recruitment andselectionof qualified candidates
Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback
Provides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performanceobjectivesand reach their fullest potential
Drives employee engagement through the creation and implementation of departmental action plans
Creates 100% guest satisfaction byprovidingtheRadisson Bluexperience through performance thatdemonstratesthe standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.Provides employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver on service and teamwork
Requirements/Skills:
- Minimum of fiveyearswork experience in hotel management
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience managing to brand standards
- Proven leadership skills, results oriented
- Able to resolve conflicts guests,supervisorand employee
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
- Knowledge or hotel operations including; preparation of business plans, budget forecasting, quality assurance program, hospitality law, and long-range planning
- Must work well in stressful,high pressuresituations
- Able to create a diverse and supportive work environment
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Adheres to the policies and procedures of the hotel
