• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs, concerns, and aspirations, utilizing psychological tools and evidence-based methods.
• Provide individualized one-on-one counseling sessions addressing diverse mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and stress management strategies.
• Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions, focusing on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and rebuilding relationships.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that set realistic objectives and interventions based on clients’ unique circumstances and goals.
• Administer crisis intervention for clients in immediate distress, employing de-escalation techniques and providing essential resources for immediate support.
• Educate clients and their families about various mental health issues, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to aid their journey toward recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and legal requirements in counseling practices, prioritizing informed consent and client confidentiality.

The LPC will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating a variety of challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and may be grappling with issues ranging from common mental health conditions to significant life changes. Your role will be vital in creating a safe, respectful environment that encourages open communication and healing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in providing effective counseling services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Empathy and the ability to establish trust and rapport, essential for a successful therapeutic relationship.
• Strong ethical judgment and professional conduct in line with mental health best practices.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance counseling practices.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices is a plus.
• Specialization in specific areas of mental health, such as trauma-informed care, couples counseling, or child and adolescent therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient client documentation and record-keeping.
