Position: Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist
Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-time
An expanding cardiology group in the Dayton region is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced cardiac disease. This position offers a mix of heart failure subspecialty care and general cardiology within a high-acuity environment that supports advanced cardiac therapies.
  • Manage patients with acute decompensated heart failure and cardiomyopathies
  • Evaluate patients for LVAD and cardiac transplant pathways
  • Provide care for advanced mechanical circulatory support cases in collaboration with tertiary specialists
  • Maintain involvement in general cardiology services as part of practice scope
  • Approximately 75% advanced heart failure care / 25% collaborative care at a partnering high-acuity cardiac center

Program Features
  • Full-spectrum cardiac care including open-heart and thoracic surgery
  • High-volume cardiac procedures including TAVR, ECMO, EP services, and coronary interventions
  • Dedicated cardiovascular ICU and heart/vascular inpatient units
  • Air and ground transport support for critical care patients

Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
  • Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
  • U.S. trained
