Job description
The University of Tennessee - Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is, seeking a full-time non-tenure track Assistant Professor. This position includes clinical care, the teaching of residents and medical students as well as other academic pursuits and research opportunities. Responsibilities for the position include provision of inpatient Gastroenterology and Hepatology consultations, inpatient care and procedures at LeBonheur Children's Hospital, and outpatient Gastroenterology Clinics at LeBonheur Children's Hospital Outpatient Clinic and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
EDUCATION: M.D. or equivalent degree.
LICENSES: Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology. Must be able to obtain a State of Tennessee medical license.

Responsibilities of this position include education and teaching, including didactic teaching and supervision of pediatric gastroenterology fellows, residents and students, research and clinical care. Research or scholarship opportunities include clinical, translational, or basic research, as well as in quality, health services and outcomes, epidemiology, implementation and dissemination research, or medical informatics.
