FT Registered Nurse - Overnights
Up to $48/hour based on experience (detox preferred)
$10,000 signing bonus (50% at start, 50% at 6 months)
Full-Time with Benefits (Part-Time or Per Diem Available)
Three weekly 12-hour shifts (7pm to 7am)
Location: Portland, Maine

About Us:
PineTree Recovery Center, part of the Guardian Recovery network, is a trusted leader in substance use disorder treatment in the Portland, Maine area. We’ve built a truly unique and highly effective recovery experience, crafted by top addiction treatment professionals and inspired by invaluable feedback from our clients.

We are looking for several Overnight Registered Nurses to join our team. These staff members are critical components of our patients early recovery and an instrumental part of the positive life changing decisions a person with substance use disorder must make as they enter the world drug/alcohol free.

Qualification Requirements:

  • License as a Registered Nurse (RN) valid in the State of Maine.
  • Recent RN nursing program graduates are encouraged to apply, in addition to candidates with extensive nursing experience.
  • Prior experience in substance abuse recovery / detox is preferred, but not at all required.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient (client) monitoring, including regular vital checks and closely documenting conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive assessment of clients at the admission stage to build the best care plan possible.
  • Administer medications, including infections and oral supplements.
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support for clients going through withdrawal from substances and/or alcohol.
  • Partner alongside clinical team members, including therapists and other mental health professionals, and be mindful of clients psychological state.
  • Communicate with clients' family/friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
  • Adhere to confidentiality best practices and ensure client privacy.
  • Follow care regulations and standards set by law.

Pay:
Ranging from $36/hour to $48/hour based on qualifications, including years of experience in detox and level of education.

Bonus:
Nurses joining us full-time on overnights will be offered a signing bonus of $6,500. Half of this bonus is paid at start, and the other half is paid after 6 months of service. The employee agrees to pay back the bonus if leaving Guardian Recovery with less than 12 months of service.

Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week for full-time status. Overnights from 7am to 7pm. Rotating weekend coverage is needed. Part-time and per diem options are also available.
