What jobs make $1,000,000 a year?

In growth strategy roles, reaching a $1,000,000 annual income typically involves senior-level positions such as Chief Growth Officer or executive roles in high-growth companies, often supplemented by bonuses, stock options, or profit sharing. These roles require extensive experience, strategic skills, and often a background in marketing, data analysis, or business development. Most individuals earning this level of income hold leadership positions with significant responsibilities and influence over company growth.

What job makes 10,000 a month without a degree?

A full-time growth strategist can potentially earn $10,000 a month through performance-based bonuses, commissions, or high-level consulting, especially in digital marketing or startup environments. ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW: Shared Hope International (SHI) is one of the oldest and most well-established US-based nonprofits dedicated to bringing an end to the crime of human trafficking. We operate both domestically and abroad to bring about much-needed reform, and survivor support and protection through our innovative, three-tiered action model - prevention, restoration, and justice.

GROWTH STRATEGIES DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: The Growth Strategies Department is a dynamic team of fundraising professionals, working to implement a comprehensive growth plan that will activate all potential fundraising channels.

Our culture is goal-focused and results-driven. Our core values include a sense of loyalty and responsibility to both our team and the cause of anti-trafficking; we hold a deep awareness that our personal work ethic has a real, tangible impact on the survivors we serve.

As we build out, our department's focus areas will include events, awareness-raising/public speaking, grants, trusts/foundations, corporate giving, social media campaigns, and direct donor engagement. We are seeking industrious, entrepreneurial individuals to optimize and expand their respective areas of focus.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Deputy to the President, the Senior Growth Strategies Manager position will be one of the key members of the Growth Strategies Department. The Senior Growth Strategies Manager will lead the planning and execution of high-impact local events while cultivating and equipping the growth strategies team to expand Shared Hope's reach and influence. The candidate must be a compelling storyteller, able to communicate in a passionate yet accurate way about the mission of Shared Hope across multiple channels including social media, email, and public speaking to drive community engagement and deepen donor activation. The ideal candidate will also be able to strengthen operational processes that support sustainable growth. This is a fundraising position first and foremost, so any candidate considered must be willing to solicit monetary contributions both directly and indirectly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary owner and project manager for annual and semiannual events, overseeing strategy, sponsorships, planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Drive measurable growth in event revenue by expanding sponsorships, increasing donor participation, and optimizing event fundraising strategies.
  • Ensure event planning is conducted with a high level of attention to financial and time constraints; work with various timelines and projects which happen simultaneously successfully.
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners through in-person engagement, meetings, and event presence.
  • Develop and deliver compelling messaging and storytelling across email campaigns, events, community engagement opportunities, social media, and live speaking opportunities to increase awareness and engagement around the mission.
  • Represent Shared Hope at events and in the community as a confident and engaging public speaker.
  • Mentor and support members of the Growth Strategies team, helping to prioritize projects, maintain accountability, and strengthen overall team performance.
  • Regularly identify new funding opportunities, develop review summaries, and actionable strategies to present to the Deputy to the President.
  • Maintain detailed calendars to track deadlines and monitor progress on Growth Strategies functions to ensure seamless execution across multiple concurrent initiatives; provide regular updates to the Growth Strategies team on these efforts.
  • In collaboration with the Deputy to the President, conceptualize and implement strategies with the purpose of generating new name acquisition, new donors and enhance donor cultivation.
  • Measure and monitor result metrics for Growth Strategies and adjust strategies to get the desired result.
  • Take a "lead" or support role as needed on other Growth Strategies team efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum education of a bachelor's degree preferred, but personal attributes and experience count for more.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to influence and engage a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in aesthetic graphic design, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Canva and similar sorts of software.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-orientation, and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical fundraising
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.
  • On occasion, a willingness and ability to put in long hours, evenings, and weekends as needed to accomplish the organizational mission.
  • A sensitivity and concern for women and children in crisis and for the eradication of sexual slavery (previous knowledge of human trafficking helpful but not required; subject matter training will be part of onboarding).

Our organization's culture is important to us. Successful candidates will identify easily with a set of character attributes, as listed below:

  • Strong Sense of Personal Responsibility: You understand that your team-and by extension the entire organizational mission-is directly impacted by your actions and attitudes: your reliability, work ethic, and ability to "weather storms" does not only affect you, but rather everyone around you. You take this responsibility seriously.
  • A Communicator: You possess strong communication skills and have been told you have good customer service skills; you like people and want to help.
  • A Problem Solver / Critical Thinker: You have a mind that regularly looks for ways to find efficiencies, innovate, and make improvements where you can.
  • Process-Oriented: You're able to understand, work in, create, and improve processes.
  • A Collaborator: You are a team player and relationship builder whose "can-do" attitude inspires others while working together to solve problems to meet organizational needs.
  • Someone Who Seeks to Learn: You are eager to listen, study, and learn new things quickly; you are resourceful and are open to regularly accepting and growing from feedback.
  • Entrepreneurial: You have proven success working in a fast-paced and changing environment; you are excited to play in a space where you're adding value to the organization and its mission.
