Job description

Nature Walk Golf Course is taking applications for energetic, customer service oriented individuals. Must be computer literate, at least 18 years of age, and able to work weekends and holidays.

  • Player Assistant communicates with clubhouse staff about activities scheduled for the day, organizes carts and regulates pace of play, maintains the driving range, and secures the Golf Club at closing.
  • Golf Shop/ Player Assistant ensures customers are properly greeted and provide excellent customer service, promoting Nature Walk products and services while also performing the duties of the Player Assistant (listed above).
  • Equipment Manager/ Mechanic oversees a comprehensive preventative maintenance program. This position includes the repair of broken or failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment or service: maintain a preventative maintenance schedule, and current quarterly inventory. The Equipment Manager places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building.
  • Greenskeeper is responsible for keeping grounds and turf of the golf course in playing condition and maintaining all day-to-day operations outside of the Pro Shop, as directed by the Golf Course Manager.
  • Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for all activities related to the maintenance and staff of Nature Walk Golf Club, surrounding club grounds, and all related equipment.

Incumbents are expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Operate and drive carts and other vehicles
  • Work under multiple time constraints

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
  • Must be able to walk property
  • Must be able to stoop, stretch, bend reach and lift regularly
  • Must be able work outside, a minimum of 7 hours daily, year around
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must be available Tuesday - Sunday, 11:00 AM through 8:00 PM (dusk)
  • Must be available on holidays

*Valid Driver's License required.

*Experience with golf tournaments to include set up, scoring, and terminology highly preferred.

*Must be available to work weekends and holidays from 8 AM - 6 PM (golf course is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).

*Position includes Golf and Driving Range benefits.
