Job description

Located approximately 50 miles outside of the Las Vegas Strip, Coyote Springs Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Experience. Since opening in 2008, Coyote Springs is considered by most to be Jack's finest desert creation! GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE GROUNDSKEEPER (Full-time employment)
The Golf Course Maintenance Groundskeeper position operates equipment and performs specific tasks related to maintaining the golf course and grounds. No experience is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
• The ability to understand and follow directions and operate golf course machinery.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Maintain logs for the operation, maintenance, and gas usage of each machine.
• Perform daily tasks necessary to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and safe
• Clean machinery after each use.
• Inspect all machines and report any deficiencies to the Equipment Technician.
• Perform other functions and routine golf course maintenance activities as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendent.
• Be thoroughly trained for the procedures at each task prior to performing the task.
• Follow training guidelines for each specific task.
Once trained and/or have previous experience will need to be able to perform specific tasks relative to golf course maintenance and grounds with potentially having to operate machinery and hand tools.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a variety of outdoor weather conditions. Position is very active and requires lifting, pulling, or pushing up to or over 50 pounds, moving and/or lifting items with awkward weights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
