Job Title: Glazing Estimator
Location: On-site, Orlando, FL
Job Type: Full-Time

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established, reputable commercial glazing contractor with nearly four decades of industry experience. They specialize in both impact and non-impact storefront and curtain wall systems, working primarily with Kawneer, Coral, Tubelite, and similar glazing systems.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep commercial glazing knowledge to manage multiple projects ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 from inception to completion. This role focuses exclusively on project execution — estimating and sales are handled separately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular communication with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Develop submittals and coordinate and submit shop drawings
  • Acquire and review material quotes; process orders for metal, doors, glass, and related materials
  • Organize and track all project documentation including plans, specifications, proposals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and submittals
  • Maintain complete and accurate project files throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with operations and field leadership to keep construction activities on schedule
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects within budget
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in the commercial glazing industry
  • Strong knowledge of aluminum framing systems, door hardware, and glass assemblies
  • Familiarity with Florida building codes
  • Experience with shop drawing review and coordination
  • Proficiency in PDF editing software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage scope changes, budget adjustments, and shifting deadlines
  • Valid Florida Driver's License required
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Central Florida area
