Position: General Manager
Reports To: Area Supervisor / Ownership
Job Type: Full-Time - Salaried (45-50 Hours Per Week Required)
Job Summary:
As a General Manager, you are the leader of your restaurant. You are responsible for running a high-performing business by overseeing daily operations, developing and mentoring the management team, and ensuring consistent execution of McDonald's systems, standards, and expectations. You drive performance across all areas, including customer service, staffing, training, food safety, labor, and profitability. This role requires a full-time commitment of 45 to 50 hours per week, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including customer satisfaction, food safety, and employee performance
  • Build and develop a strong leadership team (1st Assistant, Shift Leaders, and Crew)
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and productive team culture
  • Maintain full compliance with all McDonald's standards, procedures, and training programs
  • Analyze business performance (labor, sales, controllables) and execute improvement strategies
  • Ensure consistent delivery of Gold Standard food quality and guest experience
  • Hire, train, coach, and discipline employees in accordance with company policies
  • Execute scheduling, inventory, truck orders, and maintenance planning
  • Lead health inspections, McDonald's evaluations (e.g., EcoSure), and community relations
  • Communicate effectively with Area Supervisor, Owners, and key company personnel

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • You must be a person with strong communication and organizational skills
  • You must have experience in leading individuals and enforcing company policies and health standards
