Teller

Location: Livonia, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (No Saturdays)

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Teller to join a busy branch environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, handling cash transactions, and providing exceptional service. You will assist members both in-person and through the drive-thru while supporting daily branch operations.

While this is a high-traffic branch, there are opportunities throughout the day to assist with administrative tasks, data entry, outbound member calls, and various operational projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
  • Accurately handle cash, checks, and other negotiable instruments
  • Balance and maintain a cash drawer throughout the day
  • Serve members in the lobby and drive-thru
  • Answer member questions and provide outstanding customer service
  • Issue debit cards and assist with account-related requests
  • Perform data entry and administrative support tasks
  • Make outbound calls as needed to support branch operations
  • Assist with branch opening and closing procedures
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Organize and maintain branch supplies and paperwork
  • Support other departments when needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and regulations
Qualifications
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Teller, banking, retail cash handling, or customer service experience is a plus
